Providing information on local childcare, activities and family support services available to children and young people (0 to 19 years and to include disabled young people up to 25 years) their families, carers and those working to support local families, Children & Young People Information Service, part of the wider Childcare and Extended Services Team.
Children & Young People's Infomation Service (ChYPIS) which includes the Bury Service Directory - information about services available to children, young people, families and local communities within Bury and also provides a single point of access for information and advice on:
Updated and tailor made lists of activities for all ages are produced on demand and before all main holidays in association with many different organisations including Sports Development, Parks and Countryside Rangers, Libraries, Youth Services and many other private, voluntary and independent groups.
Family and Parenting Support Services information can also be accessed online, visit Bury's Find it 4 Me database. This is produced in association with Bury Libraries, Youth Services, Sports Development and the Re:d Centre (run by the Action for Children), the Re:D Centre supports disabled children and their families, including enabling parents and carers to have time for themselves, to be appropriately informed and to feel confident in caring for their child and to have time to spend with their other childen.)

The service is open from Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Outside these hours an answerphone is in operation. We also offer a drop-in service during office hours at Hilton House - no appointment is necssary however training may occasionally take place on a Wednesday afternoon during which time physical access to the building may not be possible.
